We take plum strawberries, lace them with gin, cook them with sugar into a fresh, fruity jam and add another splash of gin for good measure.  The result is a glorious fusion that has multiple layers, infused with the scent of a sophisticated African gin.

Enjoy with scones and cream – or even better crème-fraiche – on crumpets, on toast with breakfast or with salted nuts and crackers with sundowners.
